Finland – Medical laboratory services – Laboratory tests procured as outsourced services in chemistry and hematology

Summary

The tender concerns laboratory services ordered by Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy, including the analysis of laboratory tests and the electronic transmission of results. The purchaser is procuring tests that are not produced in its own operations. The procurement is divided into 15 lots, and partial tenders by lot are allowed. Partial tenders within a lot are not allowed in lots A–N, but in lot O partial tenders by individual test are allowed. The contract is expected to start in autumn 2026, run until 31 December 2028, and may continue thereafter for an indefinite period. As an exception for lot N, the B-PEth test contract is indefinite. One test will be brought into in-house production about one year after the contract starts.
