KA23 Kangasala substation Static Var Compensator (SVC)

Summary

The tender concerns the renewal of the existing Static Var Compensator (SVC) system at Kangasala substation under a turnkey contract. The work includes partial modernisation of the existing control and protection systems, converter valves and valve cooling system, as well as demolition work and new installations. The remaining existing SVC components will either stay in place or be upgraded by the contracting authority. The procedure is negotiated, and only prequalified bidders may take part.
