Breathing apparatus for firefighters

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of 500 brand-new self-contained breathing apparatus complete systems for fire service use in Nuremberg. The systems must be suitable for single- and twin-cylinder operation and comply with DIN EN 137 Type 2. The supply includes a carrying plate with harness and hip belt, pneumatic unit with pressure reducer and gauge, motionless alarm, lung demand valve, compressed-air cylinder and breathing connection. The equipment must be certified as Category III personal protective equipment under EU Regulation 2016/425. The tender also covers spare parts, stock for the breathing apparatus workshop, and training for end users and equipment custodians.
