Waste management services

Summary

Kaarea Oy is procuring waste management services in several lots. The contract period is planned for 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027. Lot 1 covers waste containers emptied regularly and on request in Paimio, Salo, Somero, Turku and Uusikaupunki. Lot 2 covers vacuum truck emptying of the bio-waste tank at TYKS main hospital catering centre in Turku, with transport of the waste to a treatment facility. Lot 3 covers emptying of construction-site waste skips in Turku, including both rented skips and skips under the contracting authority’s control. Submitting a tender requires a site visit and a signed certificate of attendance.
