Waste stream processing services

Summary

The tender concerns the processing of two lots of residual waste streams for the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature and participating services. One contractor will be awarded for lot 1 (fine residual waste stream) and one contractor for lot 2 (coarse residual waste stream). The aim is to process the waste as high-quality as possible in line with the waste hierarchy, with emphasis on recovery of materials, recycling and other useful applications; if that is not possible, energy recovery will be used. The estimated quantities for the maximum contract period of 4 years are 49,000,000 kg for lot 1 and 21,000,000 kg for lot 2.
