Summary

The tender concerns the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and validation of a dilution refrigerator with a magnetic field for Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork. The system is intended mainly to support quantum transport research, including electronic qubits in semiconductor quantum dots, and also the development of novel quantum materials and devices. It must reach below 20 millikelvin in an unloaded configuration, include at least a 3 Tesla superconducting magnet, provide direct sample access and fibre-based optical access, and be mountable on an optical table for integration with quantum optics experiments.
