Framework agreement for multisensor inspection trains

Summary

The tender concerns the development, manufacture and supply of up to 20 series-ready vehicles in a complete, fully functional, approved and operational condition suitable for economical use in the contracting authority’s operations and for safe operation within the meaning of Section 4 of the German Railway Act, as well as in a condition designed for their service life. The contractor must also provide maintenance services, deliver full vehicle documentation, ensure spare parts supply and supply special tools. Technical requirements include, among other things, a speed of 200 km/h, ETCS/PZB/LZB train protection, GSM-R and FRMCS train radio, and measurement and inspection technology for tracks, track superstructure, substructure, overhead contact line and clearance profile.
