Summary

The tender concerns the refurbishment of three tunnel rectifier stations in Frankfurt’s light rail network to prepare for the introduction of new vehicles and to raise the nominal overhead line voltage to 750 V DC in the future. The works include the supply and installation of 12-pulse rectifiers and double-deck transformers, replacement of the complete DC switchgear, and transport of the new equipment into the tunnel using a VGF transport vehicle, as well as removal of the old equipment.
