Medical expert service for acute poisoning

Summary

The tender concerns on-call medical expert services for the Poison Information Centre’s telephone advisory service during agreed scheduled periods. The consultant must be available around the clock, discuss cases with and support the primary on-call doctor when needed, or take over the call. The schedule is set in three-month periods, and during working hours the on-call expert is on site at the Poison Information Centre; at other times the expert is available by phone. If the organisation needs to be strengthened, the consultant must be able to arrive at the Poison Information Centre within one hour unless otherwise agreed.
