Wheelchair accessible vehicles for driver and up to 6 passengers

Summary

The tender concerns 2 wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) similar to a Ford Connect or an equivalent make/model, able to carry the driver plus 4 passengers with a wheelchair and, without a wheelchair, up to 6 passengers plus the driver. Delivery may be to any IWA site in Ireland, but the current requirement is for Tipperary and Galway. The successful tenderer must provide a visual specification check and a test drive of the proposed vehicles. IWA intends to award the contract to a single service provider and may, at its sole discretion and subject to funding, buy up to four additional vehicles within 12 months of contract award based on the tendered prices.
