Monitoring of excess mortality across Europe

Summary

The tender concerns the development and operation of a Europe-wide system for timely monitoring of excess all-cause mortality. The service will support assessment of the impact of communicable diseases and other major public health threats, especially seasonal and pandemic influenza, SARS-CoV-2 and RSV. The contractor is expected to help build and maintain a network of national institutes or study sites, collect and analyse mortality data, produce timely outputs, and work closely with ECDC.
