Sludge disposal services

Summary

The contract concerns a framework agreement for the takeover, transport, interim storage and lawful recovery or disposal of stabilised sewage sludge from the municipal wastewater treatment of the Zarrentin treatment plant. The service includes provision of swap-body semi-trailer containers, collection of the sludge at the treatment plant, transport, interim storage and subsequent agricultural or thermal recovery in line with legal requirements. The estimated annual quantity is about 2,500 tonnes with a dry matter content of typically 18% ± 3%. The total estimated quantity over the maximum four-year term is about 10,000 tonnes.
