Summary

The contract concerns maintenance and development work on already recultivated areas in the Mücheln, Roßbach, Lochau and Großkayna former open-cast mine areas, up to about 24 km apart. The work includes mowing and mulching forest development areas, mowing verges and edge strips, removing wildlife protection fences, clearing monitoring sites and sight lines, disposing of waste and contaminated wood, clearing ditches and slopes, planting forest plants and shrubs, maintaining tall trees, desilting ditches, flushing pipe culverts, maintaining flowing-water profiles and checking hunting facilities.
