Creation of the Budapestiana portal

Summary

The tender concerns the creation of the Budapestiana portal for the Budapest City Archives. The contractor must build a cloud-based database and portal, migrate about 2,867,313 records and about 3,578,831 digital images/files (around 8.2 TB), create a modern search engine and an administration interface, and deliver the source code at project completion. The system must be open-source based, scalable, secure and reliable. The winner must provide at least 12 months of warranty, operate the system for 12 months after handover without extra cost, and submit a separate price for an optional additional 24 months of operation. Participation requires references for portal development/content expansion and for handling large datasets, plus a team with at least two higher-education IT/mathematics/engineering specialists, including one with at least 12 months of SQL programming experience.
