Concession agreement for vending machines

Summary

The tender concerns the installation and operation of small unmanned retail points, i.e. vending machines, at metro stations. The bidder must finance, set up and operate the outlets and offer convenience products for passengers. This is a conditional 6-year concession: phase 1 lasts 2 years and phase 2 lasts 4 years, with a possible extension of 2 x 12 months after phase 2. If the performance criteria for phase 1 are not met, the agreement ends on 31 December 2028 and phase 2 will not start. The contracting authority intends to prequalify 3 bidders.
