Summary
The tender concerns the design competition for a new primary school, daycare centre and multipurpose hall, together with the design of public open spaces on a former railway site in Marquartstein. The project includes both the building design and the landscape/open-space design. The procedure is a restricted competition with a prior application stage and 15 participants. Applicants may participate as joint teams of architects and landscape architects, or as individual applicants who can cover both disciplines. Joint teams must apply as such and may not involve persons other than those named in the application. The bidder must nominate project managers authorised to use the professional title of architect or landscape architect. If the professional title is not regulated in the home country, the person must hold a diploma, examination certificate or other proof of competence in line with Directive 2013/55/EU, and, if awarded the contract, must meet the requirements of Article 2 of the BauKaG. Participation requires proof of at least one reference project in building design carried out in work stages 2–5 with construction costs of at least EUR 6,000,000 for DIN 276 cost groups 300 + 400, net, and at least one reference project in open-space design carried out in work stages 2–5 with construction costs of at least EUR 500,000 for DIN 276 cost group 500, net. These reference projects must be at least fee zone III. In addition, at least one reference project in building design for the type of work 'building for children' is required. The reference period must run from June 2016 to May 2026; work stage 2 must not start before that period and work stage 5 must be completed within it. If a project was carried out in another office, a confirmation from that office is required showing that the applicant was responsible as project leader. All references are evaluated only on the basis of the submitted forms. The application must also include a jointly signed joint-bidder declaration where applicable, plus the required reference forms and, if relevant, forms and commitment statements for joint bidders, subcontractors or reliance on another entity's capacity. The machine-readable notice did not include precise qualification requirements; these must be checked in the tender documents.
