Renovation of AWZI Leiden (DIG-18615)

Summary

The tender concerns the renovation of the VBT and primary sludge line at AWZI Leiden wastewater treatment plant. The works include installing a deflection wall, adding four extra sludge scrapers, creating fixed flushing points, upgrading the agitator drive with a frequency converter and replacing the motor reducer. A new primary sludge thickener and pre-treatment system must also be built, including a new primary sludge pumping station, a thickened primary sludge pumping station, a strain press, a sand trap, a new low-voltage room and switch cabinets, plus a new pit for emptying the PSI. Existing equipment, pipelines, cables and the odour filter must partly be demolished or reused. The bidder must also comply with the requirement for electronic invoicing or an electronic process.
