Municipal waste management system – waste collection

Summary

The tender concerns the collection and treatment of municipal waste from inhabited properties in the municipality of Olkusz. The contractor must collect mixed municipal waste and separately collected waste such as paper, glass, plastics and bio-waste, as well as bulky waste and waste electrical and electronic equipment. The service also includes arrangements for handing over expired medicines to selected pharmacies. The contract is part of the municipal waste management system and includes monitoring of vehicle routes and documenting collection activities. Price is the only award criterion. The tender requires a bid security of PLN 500,000 and, from the winning bidder, a performance security equal to 5% of the gross contract price. The notice also requires employment under an employment contract for drivers, loaders and office support staff involved in the service.
