DBS stimulators

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of a complete set of medical devices needed for deep brain stimulation (DBS) treatment. The set includes an implantable DBS stimulator, patient electrodes, installation tools, software for treatment planning and delivery, and programming devices for the patient and the physician. The contract runs for 4 years and the estimated total value is about EUR 1,500,000. The supplier must ensure compatibility, availability and support for the stimulator, patient controller and unit software for the patient’s lifetime or as long as the device remains in clinical use.
