Painting and floor covering works

Summary

The tender concerns painting and floor covering works at the Thalia Theater Hamburg. The works will be carried out during the 2026–2028 performance breaks in occupied premises under complex logistical conditions, in a two-shift operation. The contractor must coordinate closely with other trades and take into account the building structure and restricted transport routes. Main quantities include removing 712 m2 of woodchip wallpaper, applying dispersion paint to 4,618 m2 of existing wall and ceiling surfaces, applying first-coat dispersion paint to 3,354 m2 of new wall and ceiling surfaces, applying dispersion silicate paint to 238 m2 of wet-room wall surfaces, installing 754 m2 of painter’s fleece on wall surfaces, painting 94 steel door frames, and supplying and laying 385 m2 of linoleum.
