Construction works for Phase 2 of the paediatric inpatient accommodation project at Cork University Hospital

Summary

The tender concerns the construction of a five-storey extension to the existing paediatric unit at Cork University Hospital. The project will provide 82 paediatric inpatient bedrooms, high dependency units, palliative care suites, haematology bed spaces, procedure rooms, operating theatres and diagnostic facilities. It will also include ancillary staff facilities, plant and storage areas needed to operate the unit. The Level 0 theatres and the radiology/diagnostic suite will be delivered in shell-and-core form under this project for fit-out in a separate project.
