Laboratory-scale biogas reactors

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of two laboratory-scale continuously stirred tank biogas reactors for research purposes at the Natural Resources Institute Finland. The reactors must be suitable for studying methane production and digestate quality in anaerobic digestion of various biomass types, including slurries, sludges, manures and drier materials such as plant biomass and food waste. The equipment must allow semi- or fully continuous operation, adjustable stirring and temperature control, and stable heating. The contract also includes an option to buy up to two additional identical units on the same technical and contractual terms. The contract period is 2 years.
