River level regulation and flood control works

Summary

The tender concerns the construction of a controlled flood retention basin east of Bornhausen to improve flood protection in the Rhüden and Bornhausen areas. The works include building the embankment and through-flow structure, temporary access roads, bypass bays, raising the service road, and constructing the reinforced-concrete culvert structure and the operating building. Construction is planned over about three years and must take account of water management, nature conservation and technical construction requirements.
