Inflatable flood rails

Summary

The tender concerns the purchase of inflatable flood rails for Wexford County Council to be used as an emergency flood defence system. The required quantity is 1,600 metres of inflatable cylindrical interconnectable rail with a 1000 mm diameter, in typical 5-metre and 10-metre lengths, giving a total of 160 lengths. The contracting authority may increase the order by up to 50% and purchase additional pieces over a three-year period from contract award.
