Track construction works at Knoten HH-Meckelfeld and Harburg turnouts

Summary

The tender concerns the construction of the Harburg turnout connection. The works include installing turnouts 48, 49 and 62, adapting the subgrade according to the execution design, partially renewing the deep drainage system, and constructing concrete cable troughs in the turnout area. Track possessions are planned for mid-August to mid-September 2026, and some preparatory works will take place in the same period. Part of the work can only be carried out after the new ESTW-A Harburg has been commissioned in October 2026.
