Sludge disposal services – framework agreement for sewage sludge treatment

Summary

The tender concerns the takeover, transport, any necessary interim storage, and proper lawful recovery or disposal of stabilised sewage sludge from the wastewater treatment of the Zarrentin treatment plant. The contractor must also provide swap-body containers, accept the sludge at the plant, transport it to authorised recovery or disposal facilities, and fulfil all required proof and documentation obligations under the applicable waste legislation. The service must be delivered throughout the contract period in compliance with the relevant legal, technical and environmental requirements. The estimated annual quantity is about 2,500 tonnes of stabilised sewage sludge with a solids content of typically 18% ± 2%.
