Summary

The tender concerns mechanical installation works for the Hamm-West wastewater treatment plant. The plant is to be expanded with a fourth treatment stage for further removal of micropollutants. This includes an ozonation system with downstream sand filtration in a partial flow of 1,000 l/s, with the option of later expansion to full flow. The effluent from the secondary clarifiers will first be lifted by an intermediate pumping station and fed to the ozone reactor, where the treated wastewater will be exposed to ozone and then filtered. The ozone is produced from oxygen gas by means of silent electrical discharge.
