The tender concerns milk and dairy products for production kitchens in Bergen municipality and cooperation partners. The agreement also allows the participating units to buy locally produced food from Vestland County outside the agreement, but only when purchased directly from the manufacturer or from sales outlets that sell only locally produced food. Purchases from grocery chains or mixed-product outlets are not covered by this exception. Separate contracts exist for groceries, fish products, meat products, fruit and vegetables, and food products for service locations with food production, as well as for nurseries and schools in household packages. Cheese, butter and other dairy products for production kitchens are included in the groceries contract.
