Special road passenger transport services

Summary

The tender concerns collective passenger transport services to and from the Joint Research Centre (JRC) site in Ispra. The procedure is divided into seven lots, each resulting in a separate framework agreement. Lots 1 to 6 cover scheduled transport routes to and from the JRC, operating on predetermined routes published in the procurement procedure and serving several cities in the region, including Milan. Lot 7 covers occasional on-demand collective transport mainly for visitors travelling to the JRC site for conferences, meetings and similar activities. The service is intended for JRC staff and other passengers involved in JRC site activities. Services must be provided 5 days a week, with a round trip arriving at the JRC site in the morning and returning in the evening to the various predetermined destinations. The service is essential because the Ispra JRC site is far from the main transport networks and major cities in the region, and it must be delivered without interruption.
