Mobile maintenance of IC 2 rail vehicles

Summary

The tender concerns a framework agreement for mobile maintenance of IC 2 rail vehicles, including the locomotive (BR E147.5) and 5 passenger coaches in a complete train set. The work is to be carried out by mobile teams at sidings in several German and Swiss locations, or within a 50 km radius of those locations, to improve vehicle availability and quality. The services are planned for January 2027 to December 2028, with an option to extend until December 2029. If work takes place in Switzerland, the required notifications to the authorities and the related A1 certificates (social security proof) must be available for each employee before work starts.
