Summary

The tender concerns multidisciplinary consultancy services to support Waterways Ireland’s abstraction licensing process with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The consultant will prepare documentation and data for licensing 14 existing abstractions above 2,000 m3/day, and will also assess two proposed new or reinstated abstraction sources on the Grand Canal. The work includes reviewing current and proposed abstraction sites, data gathering, modelling and assessment of possible environmental impacts.
