Various forestry services – biodiversity monitoring

Summary

The tender concerns an innovation partnership to develop a monitoring system for biodiversity monitoring in forests and for monitoring forest use. The solution will combine multiple data sources, possibly with AI-assisted analysis, and will be operated through a web-based map tool for internal use by the Finnish Forest Centre. The development phase is estimated at about EUR 300,000 including VAT, and the contracting authority will provide the data acquisitions such as satellite images and possible drone footage.
