Framework agreement for electric 12 m low-floor city buses

Summary

The tender concerns a framework agreement for the supply of electric standard low-floor buses (12 m) for the years 2026–2028 for the contracting authority and its subsidiaries at the Augsburg and Kaufbeuren sites. The contract is financed largely by funding from the German Climate and Transformation Fund, so the binding project deadlines must be met. The successful bidder must ensure delivery and acceptance of the funded buses by 31 December 2028 at the latest and provide an order confirmation as proof. Planned deliveries include 5 solo buses to Kaufbeuren by 30 November 2027, 5 by 30 April 2028 and 5 by 31 October 2028, and 7 solo buses to Augsburg by 31 May 2028 and 8 by 30 November 2028.
