The device must be suitable for vascular surgery for the treatment of superficial venous insufficiency, for urology for transurethral treatment of mucosal changes in the bladder and urethra, and for gynaecology for microscope-assisted treatment of mucosal changes in the vagina and external genitalia. The device must allow connection of fibres suitable for different procedures.
