Collection, transport and treatment of municipal waste from the territory of the City of Wrocław within Sector 6

Summary

The tender concerns the collection, transport and treatment of municipal waste from Sector 6 in the City of Wrocław. The contractor must provide containers and bags, collect and process mixed and separately collected waste streams, handle bulky waste, bio-waste, expired medicines, needles and syringes, remove illegally dumped waste, carry out intervention works, prepare reports, and lease containers for up to 2 months after service completion. To participate, the bidder must have the required waste collection and transport registrations and a valid permit for waste collection at its storage-transport base. The bidder must also show extensive experience in waste services, including at least one contract serving an area of at least 50,000 residents and collecting at least 30,000 tonnes of municipal waste within 12 consecutive months, plus one public-sector contract for mixed and separately collected municipal waste in a municipality of at least 50,000 residents for at least 12 consecutive months. The bidder must have at least 51 staff members, including truck drivers, crane operators, machine operators, one environmental engineering or environmental protection graduate with at least 2 years of waste-management experience, and additional staff for service delivery. It must also have the required depot, vehicles and equipment, and financial capacity of at least PLN 17,000,000, with quick liquidity and solvency ratios above 1.0. The bidder must submit the required certificates, lists, references and financial documents.
