The procurement concerns phaco and vitrectomy equipment for an ophthalmology operating unit. The supply also includes mandatory phaco handpieces and a fragmatome, device-specific consumables and user training in accordance with the tender documents and their annexes. A maintenance agreement may be concluded after the warranty period, but the contracting authority will decide separately whether to activate it. One additional similar equipment package is optional. Using the option requires ministerial approval of the borrowing authorisation and investment plan, and confirmation of the 2028 budget by the regional council. Even if those conditions are met, the contracting authority is not obliged to use the option.
