Deep brain stimulation devices

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of a complete solution required for deep brain stimulation (DBS) treatment. It includes the DBS stimulator implanted in the patient, electrodes, installation tools, software for treatment planning and implementation, and adjustment devices for the patient and the physician. The contract term is 4 years, the estimated total value is about EUR 1,500,000, and there are approximately 20 new implantations per year. The supplier must ensure compatibility, availability and support for the devices, software and related systems for the patient’s lifetime or as long as the device remains in clinical use.
