Electricity and price hedging service

Summary

The tender concerns a full supply of loss and own-use electricity for VSV Sähköverkko Oy for the period 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029, together with a price hedging service. An optional purchase of guarantees of origin is also included. The estimated physical electricity volume is about 14 GWh per year and about 43 GWh over the contract period; own-use electricity is estimated at about 0.2 GWh per year and about 0.6 GWh over the contract period. The supplier must provide the required services, appoint a responsible portfolio manager for the hedging service, and carry out hedges with the buyer’s approval. The contract is fixed-term, with a possible two-year option from 1 January 2030 to 31 December 2031.
