Geothermal power plant construction works

Summary

The tender concerns geothermal works at the Sligo Regional Sports Centre. Sligo County Council is looking for a suitably qualified geothermal contractor to carry out thermal response testing and to drill and complete a new 200 m grouted vertical borehole heat exchanger so that it can be used both for the test and as part of the final geothermal collector. A distributed temperature sensor fibre optic cable must also be installed to the full depth of the borehole for long-term temperature monitoring.
