Qualification system for the purchase and lease of buses and coaches

Summary

The tender concerns the establishment of a qualification system for the purchase and/or leasing of buses and coaches for Bus Éireann/Irish Bus. The system covers low-emission coaches and school buses, and where possible zero-emission coaches with low environmental impact, in line with the latest EURO VI requirements. Applicants must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire and demonstrate their financial and technical capacity for the lot(s) they wish to qualify for. The qualification system is divided into six lots covering purchase and lease options for expressway coaches, school buses, and city buses. Qualification does not guarantee any work or contract, and contracts may be awarded separately through negotiated procedures.
