The service includes meeting the animals' basic needs, arranging first aid or other reasonable treatment when needed, identifying the owner, public notification, a 15-day retention period, record-keeping and, if necessary, collection and capture of the animal. The bidder must have suitable competence, a responsible person and a criminal record extract.
