H2 hollow-specimen setup

Summary

The tender concerns the purchase of a device, i.e. a test setup, for mechanical testing such as tensile testing with hollow specimens filled with hydrogen. The setup must be suitable for fixing the testing machine and specimen, gas and vacuum handling, and pressurised hydrogen use. It must also support a workflow in which specimens are purged with nitrogen, evacuated with a vacuum pump and then filled with high-pressure hydrogen before testing. The contracting authority’s maximum budget is EUR 112,500 excluding VAT, and tenders above that amount will not be accepted.
