Compliance requirements
The machine-readable notice includes standard exclusion grounds such as participation in a criminal organisation, corruption, fraud, terrorist offences, money laundering and related offences. The bidder or its managers/representatives must confirm these grounds and, where applicable, may provide evidence of self-cleaning. The exact exclusion grounds and any recovery/self-cleaning details should be checked in the tender documents.
Qualification criteria and exclusion grounds
The bidder must be authorised to operate in the fire safety field, and the contracting authority will check the existence of the relevant trade notice or register entry. The required activities are maintenance of fire extinguishing systems and smoke extraction systems, and inspection and maintenance of fire hose systems or fire extinguishers. The contract performance requires at least the following qualifications: security systems technician level 4 for inspection of fire extinguishers and fire hose systems; security systems responsible specialist level 5 for maintenance of smoke and heat extraction systems; and fire safety specialist level 5 for inspection and maintenance of fire compartment integrity, evacuation diagrams, evacuation routes, fire pumps, fire curtains, fire automation and fire water pipelines. In the case of a joint bid, an authorised representative must be appointed. The bid must comply with the tender documents, and conditional bids are not allowed.
