Geological, geophysical and other scientific survey services – Drilling in the Kiuruvesi and Pyhäsalmi area for the Stramin project

Summary

The tender concerns core drilling for the Geological Survey of Finland’s Mineral Economy Solutions unit in the Kiuruvesi and Pyhäsalmi area, about 3,400–4,000 metres in total. The work must be carried out with a crawler-mounted drilling rig, using wireline equipment or equivalent and NQ2 tube size. The drilling contract must be completed by 31 December 2026. Subcontracting is not allowed for the actual drilling work, but subcontractors may be used for other related tasks. Drilling may start on 1 September 2026, or earlier if the drilling permits for the area are in order.
