The agreement covers bread and bakery products, beverages, eggs, frozen products, coffee and tea, chilled products and dry products. The food must be available in large pack sizes suitable for small, medium-sized and large production kitchens. Participating units may buy locally produced food from Vestland County outside the agreement only if it is purchased directly from the manufacturer or from sales outlets that sell only locally produced food; purchases from grocery chains or mixed-product outlets are not covered by this exception. Separate agreements exist for fresh fruit and vegetables, fish products, meat products, milk and dairy products, and for food products for service locations with food production and for nurseries and schools in household packages.
