The machine-readable notice included only a domestic-law exclusion ground: the contracting authority may restrict participation based on the bidder’s place of residence or establishment. The bidder must confirm whether this restriction applies to them and, if relevant, provide the requested reference details. No other precise exclusion grounds were given; the official tender documents must be checked.

For Part 1, the bidder must submit information on the persons who will actually perform hedge and shrub maintenance and shaping cuts. Those persons must have either Arborist level 4, Gardener level 4, Master Gardener, or another professional qualification that proves competence in hedge trimming, or proof of completing the relevant training. If a training certificate is submitted, a description of the hedge-trimming competence must also be provided.
